Meisha Lee is an independent filmmaker and emerging director on the scene.  

 

Rising from a choreography background, Meisha Lee's body of work incorporates her love of movement and story telling. As an Asian female director, she feels her mission is to change the industry by telling more minority stories casted with greater diversity on screen. This onscreen change is also seen behind the camera, as her crew is full of minorities and women. 

Her greatest accomplishment is her work in providing clean water wells in third-world countries for generosity.org. So far she has raised money for seven wells giving over 4000 people clean water. These wells are located in Ghana, Uganda, Central Africa Republic, Haiti and India! Combining her two passions, Meisha is currently working on a feature documentary on the clean water crisis,
